Equip yourself now for this winter with FXR
FXR’s F.A.S.T system is known for its Float Assist Safety Tech. This system has been designed so that the snowmobiler and his family practice their favorite sport with confidence knowing that their equipment can save their life at any time.
Here’s what’s good to know!
- The F.A.S.T does not unfold in contact with water but rather is an integral part of the garment and its insulation. Whether the snowmobiler is in or out of the water, the F.A.S.T is present and useful for its insulation quality (outside the water) than for flotation (in white water). The technology will allow the snowmobiler to stay TWO HOURS floating in the water while maintaining a minimum of heat. After these two hours, there is a risk of hypothermia
- The F.A.S.T is not for single use. The garment does not disintegrate following immersion. Just dry the garment (No dryer) and it is back to 100% efficiency and will offer the same protection if the snowmobiler finds himself in the water again.
- It is strongly recommended to wear the coat AND pants for maximum efficiency.
- • The F.A.S.T is not a technology certified as a PFD (Personal Flotation Device), but it offers valuable time to the snowmobiler, the opportunity to get out of the water or wait for help without risk of drowning.
A.C.M.T & Hydrxpro
ACMT technology is a system specifically designed to combat breathability and condensation issues for snowmobile-specific applications. Many of the individual features used by FXR, such as outer shell, Hydrx Pro, vents, and inner lining, come together to create ACMT. For more efficient driving comfort, this moisture should be combined with a moisture-wicking base layer, such as FXR’s merino wool base layer.
Since you knew a little more about FXR technologies, it is now time to equip yourself for this winter and it is at Nadon Sport Saint-Eustache that it happens!
